    Presco Group is committed to protecting and respecting your personal information and keeping it private. By ‘your personal information’ we mean any information about you that we may collect from time to time about you. By providing us personal information, you accept that your personal information will be processed by us
    for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy Statement (“Statement”). You further accept that your personal information may be shared between different entities within the Presco Group. ‘Presco Group’, ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’ refers to Presco Group, inclusive of Presco, Presco Environmental, Presco Hire and Presco Prenail. This Statement relates to the privacy of your information contained within the Presco Group. This Statement aims to outline how we use your personal information and the principles under which we handle your information.
  2. What types of personal information do we collect?
    We may collect, control, process and use your “personal information” which may include names, physical or postal addresses, e-mail addresses, company names, telephone numbers or any other personal information that you provide to us including in connection with the purposes set out in section 3 below.

    Your personal information may be processed, used or transferred for additional purposes connected to the operation of Presco Group, including:
    • To provide you with news, updates, events, promotions and advertisements
    • Enabling the hire of equipment and/or request for quotes, products and services
    • Understand your interests, preferences and behaviour on our websites via the use of cookies.
    The information collected in connection to the above purposes by Presco Group may be used in combination with other information you provide us with to improve our interactions with you and to provide services to you in the future. This may include tailoring news, events, promotional and other marketing information to you. If you provide personal information via one of our social media pages i.e. Facebook or LinkedIn, you must review the privacy collection and use notices and any terms and conditions provided by those platforms before doing so to understand how your personal information will be collected, stored and processed. Any personal information that may be provided to us by those social media platforms will be stored and processed by us in accordance with this Privacy Policy statement.
  4. Who might we provide your personal information to?
    We may provide your personal information to any of the following recipients or categories of recipients:
    • our employees, board members, directors, officers or representatives;
    • our third-party service providers, business associates and distributors (including their employees, directors, officers, sub-contractors, or representatives);
    • any parties who are directly related to any one of these recipients; and
    • any person or entity that you request us or permit us to keep informed.

Privacy and the internet
The following statements are specific and applicable to your use of presco.co.nz and any websites which relate to the Presco Group and its separate entities.

  1. Interactive tools
    Our websites may provide you with interactive tools to help you make informed choices and provide you with information. We may also make available portals to assist with the provision of services between us. We may collect personal information you enter when using the interactive tools on our website applications.
  2. Cookies
    Cookies are small pieces of text stored on your computer to help us determine the type of browser and settings you are using, where you have been on the website, when you return to the website, where you came from, and to ensure your information is secure. We use cookies on our websites to record and remember when you have seen a policy, such as our cookie notification “pop-up” on the websites, or provided consent, such as consent to the terms and conditions on our online forms.     Website analytics measurement software is used to assist in tracking traffic patterns to and from our websites, surveying users of the sites. Website analytics are used to collect such information as the number of unique visitors, how long these visitors spend on the website when they do visit, and entry and exit points into and from the website. This information is collected and aggregated by third party software and provided to us to assist in our analysis of our websites and to manage and improve the services we provide to you. These website analytics are generally anonymous, however if you have allowed tracking then we may be able to identify you in some circumstances, for example when you submit a form or visit the website from a link in one of our newsletters. Where this information is identifiable then we may be storing personal information about you via the use of our website analytics.

    You can choose if and how we can track or obtain website analytics about you by changing your preferences and options in your browser. The instructions for turning off tracking from your computer or mobile device depend on the operating system and web browser you use.
  7. Facebook Audiences Tools
    We use technologies, such as cookies, to customise content and advertising, to provide social media features and to analyse traffic to the site. We also share information about your use of our site with our social media, advertising and analytics partners. Refund & Returns Policy

Presco Environmental Refunds & Returns Policy – December 2023

All claims must be lodged with Presco Environmental within 14 days of receiving the goods, providing the order number and date of sale. Presco Environmental will replace or refund the purchase price of the goods, if applicable, in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it and in the original packaging. Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at orders@prescoenvironmental.co.nz

Shipping returns

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
