As the face of the Presco Hire New Plymouth branch, you’ll work within a close-knit team to deliver a fantastic service experience to customers calling or visiting the branch.

We’re seeking a practical, well organised, self-motivated individual with a knack for problem solving and a friendly, professional demeanour.

The ideal candidate would possess customer service experience, complemented by an understanding of the hire industry or equipment knowledge. You may currently be in a similar industry, where people skills and equipment knowledge are pivotal. Experience or an understanding of transportation and freighting, would be advantageous but not required as full training in this area will be provided.

Key attributes include:

– Confident dealing with all aspects of customer service

– Computer literacy

– Adherence to quality and health and safety standards

– Ability to prioritise workflow and work unsupervised

A level of physical fitness is required to perform the role as you’ll be helping out in the yard and making equipment deliveries, in addition to your desk-based tasks.

This full time, Monday – Friday position offers a diverse work environment where no two days are the same, and your remuneration is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
