Accounts Receivable / Business Support

About the role: 

As an integral part of our support team, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including:

  • Accounts receivable credit control – invoice processing and follow-up
  • Administrative duties - including insurance and purchasing
  • Customer account setup – processing account applications and entering into accounting system
  • Payment processing and reconciliation – receipting customer payments and reconciling with bank
  • Business support – data entry and follow up for operations and QHSE teams
  • Weekly and monthly credit reporting

Our ideal candidate will have: 

  • Accounting experience – Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable or Financial Accounting
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Experience with Accounting Systems such as Xero, Reckon or NetSuite etc
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organised with good time management skills to meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent communicator to work with a range of both internal and external people.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, even under pressure
  • Proficient at data entry and mathematics
  • Excellent command of English, with good grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • A pleasant and confident telephone manner
  • The ability to work closely with the team to meet client deadlines
  • A proactive and positive attitude, ready to tackle any task
  • A postgraduate in Accounting, Business, Finance or Economics would be favourable.
